Meet Dr Frost 50ml Shortfill

Dr Frost makes one thing, and it makes it well. Cold e-liquid. The brand started in 2016 and has not really strayed from that since.

Here is what you are buying.

50ml of liquid in a 60ml bottle. The 10ml gap takes one nicotine shot.
0mg as it comes. There is no nicotine in it until you add some.
70/30 VG to PG. Thick liquid, so it needs a sub-ohm coil.
Twelve flavours in this size. Eight fruit, four from the Frosty Fizz soda range.
Cooling in all of them. Even the ones without Ice in the name.

The brand comes from Malaysia and the liquid sold here is made in the UK. That is why you will see it described both ways online.

One thing to check before you order. Dr Frost sells a 50ml and a 100ml, and they do not carry the same flavours. The 100ml range includes Blue Ice, Candy Cane, Dr Frost Remedy and Shakes Banana, none of which are here. If you liked something in Dr Frost 100ml shortfill, check this list before assuming it carries over.

The Cold Goes First

Most brands add menthol to a finished flavour. Dr Frost builds the flavour around the cooling from the start, which is why even the ones without Ice in the name taste cold.

That changes how you store it, and this is the part nobody mentions.

Cooling agents break down faster than fruit flavourings do. Leave a bottle in daylight or somewhere warm and the cold fades first. What you are left with is the same fruit, warmer and flatter, in a bottle that looks fine.

So storage matters more on this range than on most. Keep the bottles upright, in a cupboard, at room temperature. On a windowsill you lose the thing you bought it for.

The higher VG helps here too. Thick liquid carries cooling agents better than thin liquid does, which is part of why this range hits hard in a sub-ohm tank and feels weak in a small pod. If cooling is what you are after but you vape a small pod, Dr Frost Frosty Fizz nic salt covers the same flavours at 50/50.

Twelve Iced Flavours In The Dr Frost 50ml Range

Twelve in this size. The Frosty Fizz ones are a separate sub-range built on soft drinks rather than fruit.

Flavour	What it is	Range
Strawberry Ice	Strawberry	Original
Cherry Ice	Cherry	Original
Watermelon Ice	Watermelon	Original
Grape Ice	Grape	Original
Mixed Fruit Ice	Mixed fruit	Original
Orange Mango Ice	Orange and mango, the only tropical one	Original
Apple & Cranberry	Two-fruit blend	Original
Honeydew Blackcurrant Ice	Melon and blackcurrant	Original
Fizz Blue Slush	Blue slush drink	Frosty Fizz
Fizz Lemonade Ice	Lemonade, the driest here	Frosty Fizz
Fizz Pink Soda	Pink soft drink	Frosty Fizz
Fizz Energy Ice	Energy drink	Frosty Fizz

Two are worth flagging. Honeydew Blackcurrant is the one people either take to straight away or not at all, so buy a single bottle before committing to several. Fizz Lemonade Ice has almost no sweetness behind the citrus, which is unusual and worth knowing if you find most e-liquid too sweet.

Stock moves weekly, so use the selector above rather than this table. If none of the twelve suit, Nasty Juice 50ml shortfill is the other 70/30 range here, with thirty-four flavours and a lighter mint finish.

Dr Frost Needs 20W Or More

At 70% VG this liquid is thick, and thick liquid needs a big coil with plenty of cotton to feed through it.

A sub-ohm tank has that. A small pod running at 10 to 15 watts does not, so the cotton dries out faster than the liquid can replace it. You get burnt hits from a bottle that is perfectly fine.

So match the liquid to the kit. Dr Frost belongs in high-power vape tanks or a pod kit running above 20W.

If you vape a small pod at low wattage, buy a 50/50 instead. V Blood 50ml shortfill is the same bottle size at half the VG, and the wider 50ml shortfill e-liquids range covers both thicknesses.

How Many Dr Frost Bottles To Buy In Bulk

Each bottle finishes at 60ml. In a 4ml sub-ohm tank that is fifteen fills, so roughly ten days to a fortnight of normal use.

Ten bottles covers a single heavy vaper for about four months. Count backwards from your own tank size rather than guessing.

Every bottle holds one flavour, and they mix freely across a bulk order. With twelve to choose from, most buyers take a spread rather than a stack of one.

Leave the nic shots unmixed until you need them. Buying bottles ahead is sensible, but mixing a whole wholesale order at once starts the clock on all of it.

On cost from October. Vaping Products Duty begins on 1 October 2026 at £2.20 per 10ml, and it covers 0mg liquid because the charge is on volume rather than nicotine. That is £11 on a 50ml bottle, or £13.20 with VAT. Shops can sell stock they already hold until 31 March 2027, so prices climb slowly. Vape duty from October sets it out format by format. One Shot Makes It 3mg

One 10ml shot at 18mg into 50ml of 0mg gives you 60ml at roughly 3mg. That is where most sub-ohm vapers land.

Three milligrams sounds low next to a 20mg pod, but it is not comparable. At sub-ohm wattages each draw carries far more vapour, so you take in more nicotine per puff. Going higher here just makes it harsh.

Shake hard for a full minute after adding. Thick 70/30 liquid mixes slowly, and a badly shaken bottle gives you strong nicotine at one end and weak at the other.

10ml nic shots are sold separately, as UK law requires.

An unmixed 0mg bottle keeps for a long time. Once a shot goes in, use it within a few months, because nicotine reacts with air and turns the liquid brown. The shortfill guide works through other strengths and bottle sizes.

Common Questions On Dr Frost E-Liquid

Does Dr Frost 50ml shortfill contain nicotine?

No. It is 0mg in a 60ml bottle with 10ml of space. One 18mg shot brings the finished 60ml to roughly 3mg.

How many flavours are in the Dr Frost 50ml range?

Twelve. Eight are fruit and four are from the Frosty Fizz soda sub-range.

Is every Dr Frost flavour cold?

Yes. The cooling is built into the recipe, so even flavours without Ice in the name taste cold.

Where is Dr Frost e-liquid made?

The brand comes from Malaysia and the liquid sold here is manufactured in the UK. Both descriptions appear online for that reason.

Do the Dr Frost 50ml and 100ml carry the same flavours?

No. The 100ml range includes several the 50ml does not, so check the list before assuming a flavour carries across.

Can I use Dr Frost shortfill in a small pod kit?

Not comfortably. At 70VG it needs a sub-ohm coil, and a low-power pod will give you burnt hits. The Frosty Fizz nic salts are the 50/50 option for pods.

Can I mix flavours on a wholesale order?

Yes. Each bottle is one flavour and they combine freely, so most buyers take a spread across the twelve.

How long should I shake it after adding a shot?

A full minute. Thick 70/30 liquid mixes slowly, and under-shaking leaves the nicotine unevenly spread.

Why has my bottle lost its cooling?

Light and heat break down cooling agents before they touch the fruit. The flavour survives, the cold does not. Keep bottles in a cupboard.

Which Dr Frost flavour should I start with?

Strawberry Ice or Watermelon Ice if you want something straightforward. Fizz Lemonade Ice if you prefer dry over sweet.
