Getting to Know the Geekvape Aegis Boost Pod Kit

The Geekvape Aegis Boost Pod Kit is an original Aegis-series refillable pod mod. It has a removable cartridge, replaceable coils and button-controlled output. This page covers the first Boost model, rather than the Boost Plus, Boost Pro, B60 or Luxury Edition bundle.

What the IP67 Rating Covers

Geekvape built the original Boost with a zinc-alloy frame, silicone protection and a leather-covered grip. The device was advertised with IP67 protection against dust and limited water exposure, alongside a shock-resistant design. That rating is not a reason to charge it wet, expose its cartridge to water or treat the whole kit as waterproof. Protect the charging port and keep the electrical contacts dry.

Its protective shell does not stop everyday wear to seals or connections.

Geekvape Aegis Boost Colourways

Five original finishes were documented for this version:

Space Black and Gunmetal
Devil Red and Almighty Blue
Aura Glow

These are original colour names. No1 displays a colour selector, but its current selectable finishes could not be confirmed. Do not include later Luxury Edition colours as though they were standard original options.

Power Settings and the OLED

A 0.42-inch OLED shows the wattage and other device information. Use the adjustment buttons to set power, with the firing button used to activate the coil. The AS chipset supports a 5–40W range, but the coil's own working range matters more than the device maximum.

There is no physical A-Lock slider from later Aegis models. The original Boost also charges by Micro-USB, not USB-C. That distinction matters when replacing a lost lead or explaining its controls to a customer familiar with the B60.

The Two Boost Coil Roles

According to the UK listing, a 0.4Ω heating head comes fitted and a 0.6Ω alternative is provided. Both fit the same pod.

Fitted 0.4Ω Mesh

The original 0.4Ω Boost coil is generally rated around 25–33W. It is the more open, higher-power of the two supplied choices. Current Geekvape B Series references quote up to 35W for newer versions, so check the rating printed on the actual coil.

Spare 0.6Ω Mesh

For the supplied 0.6Ω coil, Geekvape specifies 15–25W. It permits a lower-power draw, although the airflow setting and liquid choice still affect whether it feels restricted or open.

The verified No1 B Series coils listing is the relevant spare-coil route. Match resistance and version; do not confuse replacement coils with replacement cartridges. A separate original-Boost 2ml cartridge page was not verified on No1.

Original Boost Technical Specifications

Electrical: integrated 1500mAh battery; 5–40W adjustable output; 0.42-inch OLED; Micro-USB charging, specified at 5V/1.5A in historical technical listings.

Body: approximately 106.8 × 39.2 × 27.7mm; zinc alloy, leather and silicone; button firing; adjustable airflow dial.

UK pod: 2ml refillable top-fill cartridge with push-fit, user-replaceable coil. International listings also mention 3.7ml, which must not be substituted for the UK nicotine-vape pod.

Top Filling and Airflow Control

Access the filling stopper on the pod's upper section, keep liquid out of the central air passage and reseal it before refitting. Allow a new coil to soak before pressing fire. The adjustable airflow dial changes draw resistance independently from the wattage buttons.

For the higher-output 0.4Ω setup, a high-VG liquid is a more relevant starting format than a strong nicotine salt. A listed 70VG/30PG example is Chuffed Sweets shortfill, sold without nicotine (0mg). This illustrates liquid consistency, not a nicotine recommendation. The lower-power coil may suit a different VG/PG balance.

Check the Original UK Kit

For a Geekvape Aegis Boost wholesale listing, identify the original device, UK 2ml pod, actual coil ratings, chosen finish and included accessories on the sealed carton. Historic kit lists mention a coil tool, extra mouthpiece, Micro-USB cable and manual, but No1's short product description does not confirm every item or any trade-case quantity.

The Geekvape pod kit collection includes several differently named Boost products. Keep them separate when selecting spares. Verify notification, labels and age restrictions before retail supply.

Original Aegis Boost Questions

Will a B60 cartridge fit the first Boost?

Do not assume so. B60 (Boost 2) pods are sold as a separate cartridge system. Use an original-Boost pod verified for this device.

What if a newly fitted coil does not fire?

Check that the correct coil is fully seated and that the pod contacts are dry. Stop using damaged parts rather than repeatedly firing the device.

Is an RDTA included with this kit?

No. The standard kit uses a refillable coil pod. Rebuildable RDTA hardware was offered separately; do not describe it as part of No1's box.

Does the listing confirm a sealed box of ten devices?

No. No1 gives a device listing, not a verified outer-carton count. Confirm the physical wholesale case quantity before using any “box of ten” description.
