Understanding the Geekvape Wenax K1 Pod Kit

The Geekvape Wenax K1 Pod Kit is the original slim, refillable Wenax K1 device. Its built-in-coil cartridges support button or inhale activation. It is not the Wenax K1 SE, K2 or M1 kit, even though some Wenax models share replacement parts.

Button Control or Draw-Only Mode

Two ways of operating the K1 are available: press the fire button or draw through the mouthpiece. The button can also be disabled while inhale activation remains available, helping avoid an unwanted button press when carrying the device. This differs from switching off.

There are three selectable power levels, indicated by white (low), blue (medium) and green (high) light. Geekvape describes stable output rather than a screen for fine wattage adjustment. The same indicator can report battery state, so its meaning depends on whether a setting is being changed or the device is being used. This adds control without a screen or airflow dial.

Choosing a Wenax K1 Cartridge

Every K1 cartridge contains its own heating coil. When that coil is worn, replace the whole refillable pod, not a separate wire or push-fit coil. The manufacturer currently documents these genuine 2ml options:

Pod resistance	Geekvape power range
1.2Ω	10–12W
1.0Ω	12–14W
0.8Ω	12–16W

The original standard kit was described with 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω cartridges. The 1.0Ω version is a later available replacement option, not supplied as a third cartridge in the original kit. Resistance is printed on each pod.

Geekvape Wenax K1 Specifications

Electrical: built-in 600mAh battery, 9–16W overall output, three power levels and USB-C charging. Both inhale and button firing are supported. There is no replaceable 18650 cell or numeric screen.

Body and pod: approximately 114.6 × 21.6 × 11.5mm; slim metal-bodied device; 2ml side-fill cartridge; non-adjustable airflow for a restricted, mouth-to-lung (MTL) inhale. Do not confuse these with K2 specifications.

Standard manufacturer package: device, two cartridge resistances and a USB-C lead, with paperwork. No1's live product page does not confirm the exact sealed carton contents or an outer wholesale quantity.

Original Wenax K1 Colours

Nine original finishes can be named from the launch-era product listings: Black, Gunmetal, Gold, Red, Orange, Army Green, Blue, Sky Blue and Pacific Blue. Geekvape's later K-series comparison refers to 15 K1 colours in total, but does not identify every finish by name. Nine names do not cover the entire later catalogue.

No1 has a colour selector; which finishes are currently selectable or physically in stock needs checking against its actual variants.

Side Filling and Liquid Choice

Remove the pod to reach its side silicone seal. Add e-liquid through the filling opening, not the centre air passage, and close the seal before refitting. Let a new cartridge stand after its first fill before activating the coil for the first time. Airflow is fixed.

For these low-output MTL cartridges, consider bottled liquid with an even 50VG/50PG blend. No1's Dr Vapes Pink Series is a listed 10ml, 50/50 example; its nicotine strengths are separate customer choices, not automatic settings for the Wenax K1. Check suitability for the cartridge and adult user.

K-Series Fit Is Specific

Geekvape confirms that K1, K1 SE and K2 can use the compatible Wenax K-series cartridges. That does not make Wenax M1, H1 or U pods interchangeable. No1 also lists Wenax K1 replacement pods as a three-pack; the indexed stock displays conflict, so check the exact resistance and availability before treating it as a replenishment option. The three-pack contains spares, not three complete devices.

Check the Original K1 Trade SKU

Before listing a Geekvape Wenax K1 wholesale unit, confirm the selected finish, the original 600mAh device, included 2ml cartridges, UK notification and the sealed box contents. The Geekvape pod kit collection includes other Wenax models, but its broader name does not prove parts compatibility. UK supply is restricted by age-of-sale rules; retailer checks and compliant labelling remain essential.

Questions on the Wenax K1

Why does the button stop firing while inhaling still works?

The K1 has a draw-only operating mode. Check the selected firing mode before assuming the switch or battery has failed.

Can I use Wenax M1 cartridges in the K1?

No verified K1 compatibility is listed for the M1 cartridge. Geekvape names the K1, K1 SE and K2 as the shared K-series group.

Does changing LED colour mean the battery is charging?

Not necessarily. The LED also shows one of three output levels. The meaning changes with the action being performed, so check the operating instructions rather than treating every colour as a charging signal.

Is the K1 supplied with a replaceable 18650 battery?

No. It has a built-in 600mAh cell that charges using USB-C. The larger removable-battery Aegis devices use a different power arrangement.
