The SMOK Vape Pen 22 Vape Kit

This one is nothing like the big prefilled kits on the rest of our shelves. It is a metal tube with a tank on top, and the customer fills that tank themselves with whatever liquid they like.

No flavour is chosen for them. No pod comes sealed in a wrapper. They pour in a bottle, screw the top back on, and press the button.

The short version, before the detail:

• Sold one at a time, not in a box

• £7.95 or £8.50, depending on the colour

• Six colours, 300 of each in stock

• The tank is filled by the customer, from a bottle

• A coil goes in it, never a pod

The SMOK Vape Pen 22 Vape Kit is not new. SMOK put it out years ago. It has outlived nearly everything launched beside it, and that is the honest reason it is still here.

One Button, That Is All

Here is the entire thing a customer needs to learn:

Press the button five times it turns on

Hold the button and breathe in it fires

Press five times again it turns off

A light blinks fast time to charge

That is everything. No screen, no watts to set, no modes to scroll through. A shop assistant can teach it in under a minute.

That matters more than it sounds. Plenty of people walk out of a shop with a clever device and never work out half of it. This one has nothing to work out, so it does not come back as a complaint.

Inside is a 1650mAh battery, which is large for something this slim. It charges over micro-USB, not USB-C, and that is worth saying out loud, because most customers now carry the newer cable and will need the older one.

The whole thing comes apart in your hand for cleaning, then screws back together. Nothing is glued shut.

A Tank, Not A Pod

Nearly everything else on our shelves works the opposite way round, so this one trips people up.

A pod kit sealed pod, thrown away when empty, flavour picked at the shop

This open tank, filled from a bottle, coil changed when it tires

Plenty of shops ask us for the SMOK Pen 22 Pod Kit and mean this. There are no pods for it. What it takes is liquid and a coil, and you already stock both.

The tank holds 2ml, the legal maximum here. It fills from the top, so the cap unscrews and the bottle goes straight in.

Two millilitres is not much next to a big prefilled kit, and a customer used to those will notice. The trade-off is that refilling costs pennies and takes ten seconds, where the prefilled kit is finished for good when its liquid runs out.

One warning for the counter. The coil runs sub-ohm, which means a loose, airy draw and a lot of vapour. It wants thicker, sweeter liquid rather than a strong salt. Point that customer at big bottle shortfills instead of the little 20mg bottles.

SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Bulk, Six Colours

There is one device on this page. The only thing to decide is the colour it comes in.

Black Blue Red Gold Stainless Steel Rainbow

Three hundred of each are in stock. So a SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Bulk order can go fairly deep on one colour without waiting on a delivery. If you have written a SMOK Pen 22 Pod Kit Bulk order on a list somewhere, this is the product you meant.

If you are guessing, Black and Stainless Steel are the safe pair. They look plain, they suit an older customer, and they do not sit on a shelf going out of fashion. Rainbow and Gold are the ones people pick up because they like the look.

A sensible first order is two of the plain colours and one bright, then let the till decide the rest. Nobody needs all six on day one.

If your shelf leans towards people coming off cigarettes, first switcher kits is the part of the range built for them, and it is a tighter draw than this one.

Two Colours Cost Less

Here is one that slips past almost everybody, and it is real money once the order grows.

£7.95 Gold, Rainbow

£8.50 Black, Blue, Red, Stainless Steel

Fifty-five pence a unit. On one device that is nothing. On a hundred it is £55, which is the difference between a thin margin and a fair one.

Nothing about the device changes with the colour. Same battery, same tank, same coil in the box. If a customer has no strong feeling about the shade, the cheaper two are the better buy for you.

Worth checking the price beside each colour as you build the order, because the dropdown does not flag it. It is the sort of thing that only shows up later, when the invoice does not match what you expected.

The Coil Is The Repeat Sale

The device is the small sale. The thing that keeps paying comes after it.

A coil is the small heating part that sits inside the tank. It wears out with use. Once the taste turns burnt, that coil is done and a fresh one screws in.

Roughly how it goes for a regular customer:

Buys the kit once

Buys liquid every week or two

Buys a coil every week or two

So one kit sold is a customer coming back twice a month for years, as long as you have the coil behind the counter. SMOK Vape Pen 22 coils are in stock here and should go on the same order as the kit, every time.

Sell the device with no coil on the shelf and you have handed that customer to whichever shop does keep them.

There is a second habit worth teaching at the counter. Tell the customer to fill the tank, then leave it standing a while before the first puff so the cotton wets through. Skipping that burns a brand new coil straight away, and they come back thinking the device is faulty.

SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Wholesale Still Sells

Reasonable thing to wonder: why keep something this old when the shelf is full of 30,000 puff kits?

Three reasons, and none of them is nostalgia.

It costs nothing to run. A bottle of liquid and a coil. Against a big kit at seven pounds a time, a customer doing the sums ends up here.

The tax does not touch it. From October the duty falls on liquid, and this device is sold dry. The customer pays the tax on their bottle, not on the hardware. That is not true of a prefilled kit, where the liquid is already inside and the tax lands with it. [documented: gov.uk, Vaping Products Duty guidance]

Nothing can go out of date. No sealed liquid ageing in the box, no flavour going out of fashion. A SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Wholesale order sat in a stockroom for six months is still worth exactly what it was.

Two kinds of buyer take this. One wants big clouds without learning about wattage. The other has added up what a week of prefilled kits costs and wants out of it. There are more vape pens like this and that collection shows the whole shape of the shelf.

One last point on a SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Wholesale order. SMOK is a name people already know, printed on the side. That saves the explaining a no-name device needs.

What Staff Get Asked

Does a SMOK Vape Pen 22 Vape Kit come with liquid?

No. The tank arrives empty and the customer fills it from a bottle they choose.

Is this the SMOK Pen 22 Pod Kit?

People do call it that, but there are no pods for it. It has a tank and a coil, so anyone asking for a pod needs pointing at a coil instead.

How big is the tank?

2ml, which is the most UK law allows. It fills from the top once the cap unscrews.

How does it charge?

Micro-USB, the older style of cable. Worth mentioning, since most people now only own USB-C.

How often is a coil needed?

Every week or two for a regular user, sooner with sweet liquid. Burnt taste is the signal.

Is a SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Wholesale order sold in boxes?

No. It is priced and shipped as single units, so you choose the quantity of each colour yourself.

What liquid suits it?

Thicker shortfill liquid rather than strong salts. The coil is sub-ohm and a 20mg salt through it is too harsh for most.

Why are two colours cheaper?

Gold and Rainbow are £7.95, the other four £8.50. The device itself is identical in all six.

Is it good for somebody just off cigarettes?

Only if they want big vapour. The draw is loose and airy, which does not feel like a cigarette at all.

Where should a SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit Bulk order start?

Two plain colours and one bright, plus coils on the same order. Build from whatever sells first.

Can I place a SMOK Pen 22 Pod Kit Bulk order?

You can order this kit in any quantity. Just remember it runs on coils, so put those on the same order rather than pods.

Does the October tax change the price of this?

Not the device. The duty sits on liquid, so it lands on the bottles your customer buys, not on the hardware.
