Two Pods Ship With The Vaporesso Xros 3 Pod Kit

Most small vape kits give you one pod and one way to vape. This one gives you two pods, and each one feels different.

You fill the pods yourself with e-liquid, you charge the vape with a USB-C cable, and when a pod wears out you swap in a new one. The vape itself stays. If that way of vaping is new to you, our page on open system vapes explained sets it out from the start.

Vaporesso list the box as the vape, a 0.6Ω pod already fitted, a spare 1.0Ω pod, a USB-C cable, a small reminder card and the user guide. Liquid is bought separately. [documented: vaporesso.com, XROS 3 product page]

One Loose, One Tight

1.0Ω

The tight one. A slow, narrow pull, a lot like a cigarette. Good with nic salt.

0.6Ω

The loose one. An easier, airier pull with more vapour. Good with 50/50 liquid.

The tight pull is called mouth to lung. You pull the vapour into your mouth, then breathe it in. The loose pull is called restricted direct to lung, where you breathe straight in, a bit like drawing through a straw.

So one kit suits two kinds of people. Someone who has just put down cigarettes will usually like the 1.0Ω. Someone who wants more flavour and vapour will usually like the 0.6Ω. And anyone who is not sure can try both before spending anything more.

It also fires two ways. There is a button on the side, and there is auto-draw, which means the vape switches on when you breathe in. UK sellers list both. Some people like a button so the vape never fires by accident in a pocket. Others never touch it and just breathe in. With the Vaporesso Xros 3 Kit, nobody has to choose one or the other.

What The Xros 3 Has That The Mini Lacks

Vaporesso also make the Xros 3 Mini, and the two names cause mix-ups. They share a battery size and they take the same pods. The differences are in what you get and how you use it.

	Xros 3	Xros 3 Mini
Pods in the box	Two (0.6Ω and 1.0Ω)	One (0.6Ω)
Fire button	Yes, plus auto-draw	No, auto-draw only
Airflow slider	Yes	No, fixed
Battery	1000mAh	1000mAh
Length	About 11.5cm	About 10cm

So the Xros 3 is the fuller kit. You get a second pod, so two ways to vape from day one, plus a button and an airflow slider. [source: Planet of the Vapes review of both kits] The smaller Xros 3 Mini costs a few pounds less here and suits someone who wants one simple setting and nothing to press or slide.

Neither one is better in general. They are for different people, and it helps to know which is which before you pick.

Vaporesso Xros 3 Vape Kit Features

The main figures on the Vaporesso Xros 3 Vape Kit, one per box.

Battery
1000mAh

Power
Up to 16W

Pod size
2ml

Pods included
0.6Ω and 1.0Ω

Firing
Button or breathe in

Charging
USB-C

Airflow
Adjustable slider

Size
115 x 24 x 14mm

Pulse mode
Through the button

The battery is 1000mAh, which UK sellers say is enough for a full day of normal vaping. Heavy use means charging sooner.

The airflow slider is the other way to change the feel. Slide it closed for a tighter pull, open it for a looser one. Put that together with the two pods and you can go from a very tight draw to a fairly open one on the same vape.

The pod sits on magnets, so it clicks in and pulls out with no twisting. The mouthpiece is flatter than on older Xros kits, which Vaporesso say is to fit the lips better on a tight draw.

Pulse Mode And The Neon Strip

These are the two features people ask about most, because the names do not explain themselves.

Pulse mode. Inside the vape is a chip Vaporesso call AXON. Vaporesso say that when you fire with the button, the chip runs in pulse mode, which gives a stronger and steadier hit on every pull. It helps most with the looser 0.6Ω pod. In simple words, the button is not just another way to switch on. It is the way to get the fuller hit.

The neon strip. At the bottom of the vape there is a thin light. It shows how much charge is left, so you can see when to plug it in without guessing. On a small vape with no screen, that little light does a lot of work.

Neither feature needs setting up. They just work in the background.

Topping Up The Xros 3 Pod

The pod fills from the top, under the mouthpiece. It takes less than a minute.

Lift
Flip the mouthpiece up. The pod can stay in the vape.

Fill
Put the bottle tip in the fill hole and squeeze gently.

Close
Press the mouthpiece down until it clicks.

Wait
Leave a new pod standing for 5 to 10 minutes.

The wait only matters with a brand new pod. The cotton inside has never touched liquid, and it needs a few minutes to get wet all the way through. Refills after that can be used straight away.

Stop filling just below the top line. A pod filled right to the brim is more likely to spit or seep.

For the 1.0Ω pod, salt nicotine e-liquids at 10mg or 20mg are the natural match. For the 0.6Ω pod, a 50/50 liquid works best. Vaporesso say the 0.6Ω pod was made with ordinary freebase liquid in mind.

Spare Pods For The Vaporesso Xros 3 Kit

When the taste goes flat or starts to taste burnt, the coil in the pod is worn out. The fix is a new pod. The vape carries on as before.

Vaporesso say the Xros 3 takes XROS pods from 0.6Ω up to 1.2Ω. Our Xros pod four-packs come in exactly those four strengths, so every one of them fits. Here is how each one feels.

0.6Ω	Loosest. The same kind as the one fitted in the box.
0.8Ω	In between the two pods that come with the kit.
1.0Ω	Tight. The same kind as the spare in the box.
1.2Ω	Tightest of the four, for the slowest, most cigarette-like pull.

One pod to leave out. The XROS range also has a 0.4Ω pod. That is below the 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω range Vaporesso give for this vape, so it is not one to pair with the Xros 3. [documented: Vaporesso, quoted in Planet of the Vapes launch news]

Xros 3 Pod Kit Wholesale For The Upgrade Buyer

Think about who this kit suits better than a cheaper one. It fits someone who wants more say in how their vape feels.

The upgrader
Has used a bar or a basic kit. Wants a button, a looser pull, or both.

The careful first-timer
Wants to try a tight and a loose pull before settling on one.

Both are well served, because the two pods let them find out for themselves. That is the easiest way to explain the price gap to a buyer at the counter: two pods and a button, against one pod and none.

When you plan a Vaporesso Xros 3 Pod Kit wholesale order, think about the pods too. Every kit brings its own spare, so the first pod sales come a little later than with a one-pod kit. After that, pods are the regular repeat sale.

The rest of the brand is grouped in our Vaporesso kits for shops, including the Mini and the Nano.

Xros 3 Vape Kit Bulk Across Eight Colours

There are eight colours, and an order can mix them however you like. They split fairly neatly into two groups.

Plain and dark	Bright and pastel
Black Space Grey Icy Silver Navy Blue	Mint Green Rose Pink Sky Blue Royal Gold

A simple way to plan an Xros 3 Vape Kit bulk order is to take some from each group, then let sales show you which side of the table moves faster before you order again.

Two more things help. First, keep the spare pods close by, in both the 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω strengths, so whichever one a customer prefers is there when they come back. Second, think about a cheaper refillable to sit beside it. The Gotek S from Aspire has no button and one pod, which makes it a plain, lower-cost choice for someone who does not need the extras.

That way there is a simple kit for the price-first buyer and a fuller one for the person who wants to choose how it feels.

When The Xros 3 Plays Up

Which pod should I use first?

The 0.6Ω comes fitted and gives the looser pull. If you have just stopped smoking, try the 1.0Ω as well. It is tighter and closer to a cigarette.

It fires when I breathe in. Is the button broken?

No. The Vaporesso Xros 3 Pod Kit works both ways. You can press the button or simply breathe in.

What does the light at the bottom mean?

It shows how much battery is left. When it runs low, plug the USB-C cable in.

A brand new pod tastes burnt.

The cotton inside was still dry when it was used, and that damage stays. Put in a fresh pod, fill it, and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes before the first puff.

My 0.4Ω pod does nothing.

Vaporesso give 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω as the range for this vape, and 0.4Ω sits below it. Use one of the four in that range.

Is this the same as the Xros 3 Mini?

No. The Vaporesso Xros 3 Vape Kit has a button and two pods in the box. The Mini has no button and one pod.

How long does it take to charge?

One UK seller says about an hour from flat, using the cable in the box and a standard 1A plug.

Can I use 50/50 liquid?

Yes. It suits the 0.6Ω pod best. The 1.0Ω pod is better with nic salt or a liquid higher in PG.

Why pick the Xros 3 Pod Kit wholesale over the Mini?

For buyers who want a button, an airflow slider and a second pod. The Mini suits people who want none of those and a lower price.

Do I need pods with my first Xros 3 Vape Kit bulk order?

Not on day one. Every Vaporesso Xros 3 Kit already carries two pods, so the first pod sales come later. Have some in stock by then.
