Elf Bar Tacja Nicotine Pouches Overview

A nicotine pouch is a small white pad. You tuck it under your top lip and leave it there. It gives you nicotine through your gum. There is no smoke, no vapour, no smell and nothing to charge.

Tacja is Elf Bar's pouch brand. The pouches are made in Sweden from gum base and plant fibre. There is no tobacco in them at all. You are not smoking and you are not vaping. Nobody can tell you are using one.

This page is Tacja Nicotine Pouches Menthol. An Elf Bar Tacja Nicotine Pouches Box of 5 holds five cans, and each can holds twenty pouches. Eight flavours exist in all, and the Tacja pouch range lists every one.

5 cans × 20 pouches = 100 pouches in a box

Most shops only tell you the can count. This is the number that matters.

What 20mg Really Means

This confuses nearly everyone, so it is worth clearing up before you pick a strength.

The number on the can is milligrams per gram. It describes the whole tin, not one pouch. The nicotine you actually get from a single pouch is a lot less.

Regular, 12mg/g	about 6mg in each pouch
Medium, 18mg/g	about 9mg in each pouch
Strong, 20mg/g	about 11mg in each pouch

So the Strong can is not a 20mg pouch. If you came off a 20mg vape and expected the same, it is closer to half that.

Even then the two are not the same thing. Nicotine through your gum works slower than nicotine you breathe in, so it comes on gently rather than all at once.

New to pouches? Start on Regular. It does not matter how much you smoked. Your gum needs a few days to get used to them, and starting on Strong usually ends with a sore lip instead of a switch that sticks.

How To Use A Pouch

Take one out of the can.
Put it between your top lip and your gum.
You will feel a tingle within a minute. That is normal. It calms down after about five minutes.
Leave it there for up to half an hour. You do not need to move it.
Put the used one in the lid, or in a bin.

Do not chew it. Do not suck it. Do not swallow it. The nicotine goes through the skin inside your mouth. Chewing just makes a mess and does not make it work faster.

That first tingle catches people out. It is meant to happen and it fades. If it really hurts rather than just feeling odd, you are on too strong a can. Drop down one.

Menthol In The Elf Bar Tacja Range

Tacja makes eight flavours, split into two families. Here is where Tacja Nicotine Pouches Menthol sits.

FROZEN Cold. Mint and menthol led.	MELLOW Fruit. Much less cooling.
Menthol ← you are here Mint Spearmint Freezing Ice	Cherry Ice Lemon Mango Watermelon Ice Blueberry Sour Raspberry

Menthol is the plainest of the four cold ones. Straight cooling, with no fruit or herb behind it.

If it turns out to be too much, Tacja Mint nicotine pouches are the step down rather than a jump to something else. Softer, rounder, same family.

Want it sweeter instead? Tacja Spearmint nicotine pouches keep the cold and add sugar to it. And if Menthol is not cold enough, Tacja Freezing Ice pouches are the coldest thing the brand makes.

The Mellow Range

The other four are fruit with only a light chill. The flavours come from Elf Bar's own bars, so if one of those worked for you there is a fair chance it is here too.

Pouches Against Vaping

People use these for the times a vape does not work. On a plane. In a meeting. At a desk. Anywhere indoors where pulling out a device would be awkward.

Nobody sees anything. There is no cloud, no smell on your clothes and no noise. You just have something under your lip.

Plenty of people use both rather than swapping completely. Pouches in the day, a vape the rest of the time. You do not have to choose one, and prefilled against refillable vapes compares the two device formats if you are picking one as well.

One honest warning. A pouch does not give you the hand-to-mouth habit. For a lot of people that habit is half of why they vape, and losing it makes pouches harder to settle into than they expect. If that is you, pod kits with prefilled pods will suit you better.

Elf Bar Tacja Nico Pods Wholesale

Pouches are one of the easiest things to hold stock of. No battery, no liquid, nothing to charge and nothing that leaks.

Each Box of 5 is one flavour at one strength, and boxes mix freely. So a Tacja nico pods wholesale order can spread across flavours and strengths however you want.

Which sell hardest? The cold ones. Menthol and Mint move fastest because they are what people ask for by name. The fruit flavours sell more slowly and to people who already know the range.

On strength, Medium is the safest bet for a counter. Regular suits beginners and Strong suits heavy users, but Medium covers the middle where most buyers land.

How many to take? One person gets through a can in three to five days, so a Box of 5 is roughly three weeks. Ten boxes is a thousand pouches, which is a long time for one person and a few weeks of counter sales in a small shop.

A Tacja nico pods bulk order is low risk for one more reason. Sealed cans keep for about a year. Store them somewhere cool and dry with the lids on. An open can dries out, and a dry pouch tastes of almost nothing and gives up its nicotine unevenly.

Keep them well away from children and pets. The cans are small, bright and look a bit like sweets, and the nicotine in them is not trivial.

Stocking other brands too? wholesale nicotine pouches by brand covers Pablo, Killa and everything else we hold.

No Vape Duty On Pouches

This is worth knowing if price is part of why you are looking at pouches.

The rules that cap vape liquid do not touch pouches. There is no 2ml limit and no 10ml limit here, because a pouch is not liquid. That is also why strength is written per gram instead of per millilitre. [documented — gov.uk, Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016]

The new tax starting on 1 October 2026 does not touch them either. Vaping Products Duty is charged on vape liquid at £2.20 per 10ml. A pouch has no liquid in it, so it pays nothing. [documented — gov.uk Vaping Products Duty guidance]

So while e-liquid prices climb through late 2026 and into 2027, pouch prices sit still. Our guide to vape duty from 1 October sets out what changes and what does not.

One thing that does apply. You have to be 18 or over to buy nicotine pouches in the UK, the same as vapes and cigarettes.

Tacja Nico Pods Box of 5 FAQs

How many pouches are in a Box of 5?

One hundred. Five cans with twenty pouches in each. All five cans are the same flavour and strength.

What does 20mg on the can mean?

Twenty milligrams per gram across the whole tin, which works out at roughly 11mg in one pouch. It is not 20mg per pouch.

Which strength should I start on?

Regular, if you have never used pouches. Your gum needs a few days to adjust and Strong is uncomfortable at first for most people.

Do Elf Bar Tacja nicotine pouches contain tobacco?

No. They are made in Sweden from gum base and plant fibre. Nicotine without any tobacco leaf.

How long does one pouch last?

Up to half an hour. The tingle starts within a minute and settles after about five.

Can I chew or swallow one?

No. It sits under your lip and the nicotine goes through your gum. Chewing makes a mess and does not speed it up.

How is Tacja Nicotine Pouches Menthol different from Mint?

Menthol is the sharper, cleaner cold. Mint is softer and rounder. Both are in the Frozen family, with Freezing Ice the coldest.

Can I mix flavours on a Tacja nico pods bulk order?

Yes. Each Box of 5 is one flavour and one strength, but boxes combine freely across a wholesale order.

How many boxes should I take on a wholesale order?

A Box of 5 lasts one person about three weeks. Weight a Tacja nico pods wholesale order towards Menthol and Mint in Medium, since those sell fastest.

How long do Tacja nico pods keep?

About a year sealed. Keep them cool and dry with the lid closed, because an open can dries out.

Will the October 2026 vape tax affect the price?

No. That tax is on vape liquid, and pouches contain none. Their price is not affected.

Can I use them where vaping is banned?

Usually yes, since there is nothing to see or smell. Individual venues and employers still set their own rules, so check if it matters.
