Understanding the SMOK Novo X Pod Kit

Designed for use with refillable cartridges, the SMOK Novo X Pod Kit is a compact pod system with a small screen and user-adjustable power. The device works when someone inhales, while its button is used for settings. It belongs to the original Novo X generation, not the first Novo or the later Novo 4.

Two Different 0.8Ω Pods

The important choice is which Novo X pod is fitted. Both manufacturer-listed cartridges hold 2ml and have built-in coils, but they use different heating elements and wattage ranges:

Novo X cartridge	Listed power range
DC 0.8Ω MTL	12–25W
Meshed 0.8Ω	10–15W

A matching resistance does not mean the same power setting is suitable. The DC version is made for a mouth-to-lung draw. The mesh version uses a different heating surface. Check the marking on each pod instead of automatically setting the device to its 25W maximum.

Novo X OLED and Power Control

The 0.49-inch OLED displays the selected wattage and device information. A small button switches the kit on and changes its power; inhaling still activates the draw. That lets the user adjust the setting without holding down a firing button.

Its built-in 800mAh battery supports the compact format. SMOK also describes a two-way air channel in the pod and electronic protection functions. Those are device features, not guarantees against leaks or damage. Charging is through Micro-USB, not USB-C.

Colour Finishes

SMOK lists eight original Novo X colours. UK catalogue names group them as:

Cobra finishes: Silver Cobra, Black Cobra, Blue Cobra, White Cobra and 7-Color Cobra.
Other finishes: Black Stabilizing Wood, Red Stabilizing Wood and 7-Color Resin.

No1's page has a colour selector, but the readable listing does not identify its current variant names or stock. These are manufacturer-era options, not promises that all eight can be ordered today.

SMOK Novo X Specifications

Battery and output: built-in 800mAh; adjustable 1–25W.
Screen: 0.49-inch OLED.

Original kit contents: device, one DC pod, one Meshed pod, USB cable and manual, according to SMOK's standard listing.

Some UK sellers describe a carton with two DC pods instead. The exact No1 box has not been checked, so its contents must be confirmed against the physical SKU.

Filling and Cartridge Care

Lift the pod's side stopper, fill through the opening and seal it before refitting. Let the wick absorb the liquid before use. When the coil wears out, replace the whole Novo X cartridge, not a separate loose coil. The site's Novo X replacement pods are the directly relevant three-pack; check DC or Meshed resistance at selection.

A 50/50 bottled liquid is a practical format to investigate for these small refillable MTL pods. For example, Dr Vapes Pink Series has a stated 50VG/50PG ratio. The listed nicotine strengths are separate choices, not automatically suitable for every power setting or user.

For UK nicotine-vaping supply, verify the 2ml pod, notification and required labelling on the actual batch. Sales are restricted to adults aged 18 or over.

Check the Novo X Trade Carton

Before placing a SMOK Novo X wholesale order, confirm the selected finish, included pod types, UK documentation and any sealed outer-case quantity. The case size is not established on No1's product page. For comparisons with other devices, see the SMOK pod kits collection; it does not mean other Novo cartridges are interchangeable.

Novo X FAQs

How do I adjust watts on the Novo X vape kit?

Press the small button three times to enter power adjustment, tap to move through settings, then stop pressing to set the value. Stay within the fitted pod's stated power range.

Can I use original Novo or Novo 2 pods in the Novo X?

SMOK lists Novo X cartridges as their own pod series. Use the specifically named Novo X 0.8Ω DC or Meshed cartridges, rather than assuming older Novo pods fit.

Does the SMOK Novo X have a manual airflow slider?

No adjustable airflow slider is listed. The pod uses a built-in two-way air channel, so power and cartridge choice are the main controls.

Why might my Novo X stop producing vapour?

First check the battery, pod seating, clean contacts and e-liquid level. If it still fails to detect or fire with a suitable cartridge, follow SMOK's fault guidance rather than forcing the pod or continuing to use a damaged unit.
