Designed for use with refillable cartridges, the SMOK Novo X Pod Kit is a compact pod system with a small screen and user-adjustable power. The device works when someone inhales, while its button is used for settings. It belongs to the original Novo X generation, not the first Novo or the later Novo 4.
Two Different 0.8Ω Pods
The important choice is which Novo X pod is fitted. Both manufacturer-listed cartridges hold 2ml and have built-in coils, but they use different heating elements and wattage ranges:

Novo X OLED and Power Control
The 0.49-inch OLED displays the selected wattage and device information. A small button switches the kit on and changes its power; inhaling still activates the draw. That lets the user adjust the setting without holding down a firing button.
Its built-in 800mAh battery supports the compact format. SMOK also describes a two-way air channel in the pod and electronic protection functions. Those are device features, not guarantees against leaks or damage. Charging is through Micro-USB, not USB-C.

Lift the pod's side stopper, fill through the opening and seal it before refitting. Let the wick absorb the liquid before use. When the coil wears out, replace the whole Novo X cartridge, not a separate loose coil.
