SMOK Nord Pod Kit: An Introduction
SMOK first used the Nord name for a compact refillable device with one firing button. The SMOK Nord Pod Kit is that first model. Its cartridge accepts separate coil heads, so it is not a prefilled system or a Nord 2, Nord 4 or Nord X kit.
Why the Original Cartridge Is Reusable
The Nord's pod has a small e-liquid viewing window. It lets the user see when to top up without removing the cartridge each time. To refill, remove the pod and open its side stopper. Close it securely after filling.
The coil pushes into the bottom of the cartridge. Replace worn coils while the pod seal and contacts remain sound. The duck-billed mouthpiece is part of the cartridge design, rather than a separate 510 tank. Leave fresh cotton time to absorb liquid before firing.

Operating the Nord Without a Screen
There is no adjustable wattage menu. Five quick button presses turn the original Nord on or off; hold the same button to fire. It is button activated, not an inhale-only device.
Two quick presses display battery condition through the button light. SMOK defines red as below 30%, orange as 30–70%, and green as 70–100%. These are charge ranges, not adjustable power modes.

The international version was also sold with a larger cartridge. Its capacity must not be treated as suitable for UK nicotine-vape retail. Match the Coil to the Draw
The Nord 0.6Ω mesh is the more open, sub-ohm choice, while Nord 1.4Ω regular is designed for mouth-to-lung use. That means drawing vapour into the mouth before inhaling. No1's brief listing calls the mesh coil 0.65Ω, but SMOK's own documentation says 0.6Ω. Check what is printed on the physical coil before supplying spares.
No1's Nord pod and coils page is a relevant accessory starting point, although its pod-capacity and resistance selections need checking individually. For the lower-output 1.4Ω setup, a bottled 50/50 liquid is an appropriate format to consider; Crystal Clear nic salts provide one listed example. Nicotine strength is a separate adult-user decision, while higher nicotine strengths need separate consideration with the 0.6Ω coil.
Do Not Confuse Nord Parts
An original Nord cartridge does not become compatible with every later Nord device simply because the name is shared. Nord 2 has separate Nord-coil and RPM-coil pod types; an RPM cartridge is not an original Nord replacement. The coil family and the plastic pod housing are two different compatibility checks. Do not mistake an RPM Nord pod for this original cartridge.

What if the Nord cartridge does not sit properly?
Check that the coil is fully inserted and that the contacts are clean and dry. Do not force a damaged cartridge into the device.
Can the device be supplied with a bottle of e-liquid?
SMOK's manufacturer notice says the original Nord is not intended or authorised to be bundled with e-liquid. Bottled liquid is a separate product.
Does the coloured body change the way the Nord operates?
No different electronics are documented for the named finishes. Colour alone cannot confirm cartridge size or box contents, so inspect the particular UK SKU.
