Each pod carries 20mg nicotine salt behind a 1.2Ω QUAQ mesh coil, and the pod body is transparent so you can see the liquid level rather than waiting for the flavour to fade. That visibility sounds minor until you have been caught out mid-shift by a pod you thought had another day in it.
The Lost Mary Tappo pods fit two devices, not one
This is the part most listings miss, and it matters more than usual here.
These pods were designed for the Lost Mary Tappo, a 750mAh device with USB-C charging and LED battery indicators. They also fit the Elf Bar ELFA Pro — the two systems share a pod format, which is not obvious from either brand name and is rarely mentioned on either product page.
That compatibility matters practically, because the Tappo device itself has been discontinued. If your Tappo has given up and you still like the flavours, the Elfa Pro starter kit takes these pods without any adaptor or workaround. It works the other way round too: Elfa Pro replacement pods will seat in a Tappo, which effectively doubles the flavour range available to either device.
What they will not fit is the rest of the Lost Mary range. The BM6000 and Nera 30K use entirely different pod formats despite carrying the same brand, and forcing one into the other damages the contacts on both.

At 600 puffs a pod typically runs one to three days depending on how heavily you vape. A box of two is therefore closer to a few days' cover than a week's, which is worth knowing if you are working out how often you will be reordering.
What QUAQ mesh changes
QUAQ is Lost Mary's own coil design, the same one used in the NERA and BM6000. The mesh is finer and the wick more absorbent than a conventional round-wire coil, which spreads heat more evenly across the surface instead of concentrating it in the centre.
In practice that shows up at the end of a pod rather than the start. Most 2ml pods thin out over the last hundred puffs as the wick struggles to keep pace with a falling liquid level — a more even spread narrows that drop-off, so the final draws taste closer to the first. It does not make the pod last longer; 2ml is 2ml whatever coil sits in it.
The seal, and why it is there
Each pod has a built-in seal keeping the e-liquid physically away from the coil until first use. That is what stops a pod sitting in a drawer from slowly saturating its own coil and going stale before you ever open it.
It is a genuine engineering choice rather than packaging theatre, and it is why a pod bought months ago performs the same as one bought yesterday. It also means a fresh pod needs real time before it works properly — more on that below.
Fitting a pod
- Take a pod from the box and peel the sticker off the base.
- Pull the rubber bung out of the device mouthpiece.
- Press the base of the pod until it clicks. On the newer Tappo Pro pod this step is not needed.
- Leave it at least five minutes before the first draw.
- Inhale. There is no button.
Five minutes is longer than most pods ask for, and it is entirely because of the seal. The coil starts completely dry rather than partly wet, so it needs real time to wick through. Draw on it early and you get a burnt note that often does not clear — an expensive five minutes to save on a pod meant to last days.
If you have just broken the seal and the first draw tastes of nothing at all, that is the opposite problem and it resolves itself within two or three puffs as the liquid reaches the coil.

Berry and blue fruit
