Two Ways to Reach 120W
A customer asking for SMOK TFV16 Coils at 120W might mean either the 0.17Ω single mesh or 0.12Ω dual mesh head. They are different products, so check the old coil marking.
These heads fit the original SMOK TFV16 tank, not every SMOK tank. No1's listing has a resistance selector but an empty Product Details section. Do not assume every option is stocked.
Four Builds to Recognise
SMOK lists four original TFV16 mesh builds. Staff need to distinguish:
-
Single Mesh, 0.17Ω: one mesh heating element. Specialist specifications give approximately 120W as a preferred setting.
-
Dual Mesh, 0.12Ω: two mesh sections, with 80W to 160W quoted as its operating range and about 120W preferred.
-
Triple Mesh, 0.15Ω: three mesh sections. Published guidance commonly centres on 90W, rather than copying the dual coil's upper limit.
-
Conical Mesh, 0.2Ω: a shaped mesh design with a 60W to 85W recommended band. It is not the same product as a TFV16 Lite 0.2Ω coil.
These are manufacturer designs, not four confirmed No1 stock choices. Treat the power figures as selection guidance, then follow the printing on the actual sealed coil.
The Lite Mix-Up
The original TFV16 and TFV16 Lite are separately named in SMOK's coil guide. Lite uses a 0.2Ω Lite Conical Mesh and 0.15Ω Lite Dual Mesh family. A matching resistance number alone cannot establish that the coil will fit the other tank.
That difference matters for the SMOK G-Priv 3 kit. No1 identifies its included tank as TFV16 Lite, not the original TFV16. A customer buying for that kit should confirm the Lite tank and seek the matching Lite head, not order this page by the name TFV16 alone.
Likewise, TF BF coils serve the separate TF Tank. V12 Prince coils also belong to a separate family. Do not treat similar mesh construction as evidence of a safe physical match.
Fitting the Right Head
For the original TFV16 tank, first verify the manufacturer's full coil name and resistance against the removed head. Then check the tank's base, seals and seating surfaces. Switch off the mod and let the tank cool before handling it.
Fit the correct replacement without forcing it, refill the tank and allow the cotton to absorb liquid before firing. Begin towards the lower end of the supplied coil's recommended power setting. If a fresh head immediately shows a contact error, inspect seating rather than raising the wattage. No1's vape coil guide explains burnt cotton and connection faults separately.
This page sells a replacement heating head. It does not include a new tank, glass section, mod or e-liquid.
Pack Size Is Not Case Size
SMOK's official compatibility list describes three TFV16 coils per manufacturer retail pack. That is not proof of the quantity inside every selected No1 variant. Nor does three coils per retail pack reveal how many retail packs are sealed in a wholesale carton.
For SMOK TFV16 Coils wholesale, write the order with the full mesh type and resistance, not simply “TFV16 mesh”. For SMOK TFV16 Coils bulk orders, confirm the physical three-piece retail pack, exact selected option and number of packs per outer case with the supplier.
SMOK internationally lists a 9ml TFV16 tank. This is not a compliant UK nicotine-vape tank. GB notifications for some replacement coils do not prove the tank's legal capacity. The UK limit for tanks and replacement tanks is 2ml. Further properly named replacement families can be checked through SMOK replacement coils.
TFV16 Coil FAQs
Which tank is this replacement family intended for?
The original SMOK TFV16 tank. Read the tank label and the old coil before ordering.
Are single and dual mesh the same at 120W?
No. The 0.17Ω single and 0.12Ω dual have distinct builds despite similar preferred power figures.
Is the 0.2Ω TFV16 Lite head interchangeable?
Do not assume so. SMOK lists original TFV16 and TFV16 Lite as separate coil families.
Can I order these for the G-Priv 3 kit?
Not by kit name alone. No1 says the kit includes a TFV16 Lite tank, which needs the appropriate Lite coil.
Does the No1 selector guarantee all four designs?
No. The actual live options and sealed stock variants have not been verified.
Does a pack include the full tank?
No. These are replacement heating coils; the tank and mod are separate products.
What quantity is confirmed for wholesale orders?
SMOK specifies three per manufacturer retail pack. No1's selected pack and sealed outer-case quantity need confirmation.
