Uwell Caliburn Pod Kit: The First-Generation Device
The Uwell Caliburn Pod Kit is the original slim refillable model, introduced before Uwell added the G, A and later Caliburn families. It uses a removable pod, a built-in battery and two firing methods.
Two Ways to Use the Fire Button
The original Caliburn can start when someone inhales through its mouthpiece or when they hold the Fire button. Tap Fire five times to switch the unit on or off. There is no wattage adjustment.
Uwell also describes a fault-diagnosis function for the draw sensor. If automatic activation fails, the electronics can disable that mode while leaving manual button firing available. This does not make a damaged device safe.
What Makes the Original Cartridge Different?
A 1.4Ω heating coil is sealed into the pod. Unlike the Caliburn G, it takes no separate coil heads. The whole cartridge is replaced when its heating element wears out.
Magnets hold the pod in the device. The 2ml cartridge has a mouth-to-lung draw and no external airflow wheel.
Caliburn Colour Options
Uwell's original six finishes are Black, Grey, Blue, Red, Pink and Iris Purple. These six finishes do not establish what No.1 currently stocks.
Its colour selector is unreadable. Confirm the labelled colour on a physical carton rather than assuming all six are stocked.
Battery Light and Charging Port
A small LED beneath the button gives battery and operating feedback. There is no percentage display. Charging uses Micro-USB, not the USB-C connection used by various newer Caliburn kits.
The built-in cell cannot be swapped for an 18650 battery. The slim aluminium body is around 11cm tall.

Caliburn Replacement Pods and Their Fit
No.1 lists Caliburn 1.4Ω pods as a pack of four. These are replacement refillable cartridges, not four complete devices. Each already contains its own coil.
Later Caliburn G and A-series pods use different fittings. UK sellers claim the 1.2Ω KOKO pod also fits, but Uwell clearly documents only original Caliburn pods fitting KOKO. Check that specific pod code instead of promising two-way compatibility.
Filling Under the Mouthpiece
The original pod has two outer fill openings beneath its removable black mouthpiece. Use one of those openings rather than the middle air passage. Refit the cap firmly and let the cotton absorb new liquid before use.
The sealed coil cannot be removed. Replace the pod if it is damaged or continues producing a burnt taste after proper filling.
E-Liquid for the 1.4Ω System
The 11W, higher-resistance pod is designed for lower-power mouth-to-lung use. UK specialists identify 50/50 VG/PG liquids as suitable, including compatible nicotine salt or freebase formulations. Strength is a separate choice.
No.1's IVG 10ml Nic Salt listing specifies a 50/50 blend; check the chosen bottle's labelling and strength separately. Liquid is sold separately.
Check the Original Caliburn Trade Carton
For an original Caliburn wholesale listing, identify the 11W Micro-USB device, its first-generation 2ml pod and the chosen colour. Historical boxes show two 1.4Ω pods, a cable and instructions; a manual transcription lists one separate cartridge. No.1 does not confirm its sealed box or case count.
The Uwell pod kit collection helps distinguish the later models. Verify the actual carton before stating UK stock contents.
Original Device Questions
Is there a time limit on one continuous puff?
Yes. The original device has a ten-second firing cut-off. It does not mean the unit can be left firing unattended.
Are there four devices in a Caliburn four-pack?
No. The listed four-pack contains four replacement pods with built-in coils, not four rechargeable devices.
Are the 1.4Ω cartridges sold already filled?
No. These are empty refillable cartridges. Suitable bottled e-liquid is purchased separately.
Does the original Caliburn take Caliburn G coils?
No. It uses a sealed-coil original cartridge, not the replaceable-coil platform of the Caliburn G.
Can I attach a screw-on vape tank to this Caliburn?
No. It has a magnetic slot for its original refillable pod, not a 510 tank connector.
