4000 To 9000 Puff Vapes: What A Shop Can Still Stock

A Run Through Of Every Tier Under Ten Thousand

If you sell vapes and somebody asks for a 4000, a 7000 or a 9000 puff vape, the honest answer in late 2026 is longer than it used to be. The device they are picturing, a sealed bar you use and bin, cannot legally be sold here any more. Something with the same number on the box can be.

This guide takes every tier below ten thousand puffs in turn, from three and a half thousand up to nine. What happened to each, what is legal now, and what a shop should put on the shelf. A 7000 Puff Vape Box of 10 is still a normal trade order; it is just a different object inside the box than it was two years ago.

The Single Use Bar At These Puff Counts Has Gone

The rule is short and it has been in force since 1 June 2025. A vape can only be sold in the UK if it is reusable. Government guidance sets out three things that makes it reusable.

One part of this gets misread constantly, so it is worth being plain about. A prefilled pod still counts as refillable. The guidance says a reusable vape can be refilled either by topping up a tank with liquid or by "inserting new, pre-filled pods". You do not need a bottle. You need a pod the customer can change.

There is a fourth condition that reads softer but matters commercially. The refills "should be separately available for users to buy". So a kit sold with nowhere to get a fresh pod is on thin ice, and it is also a shop losing its repeat sale.

The penalties are not trivial. In England, Trading Standards normally opens with a £200 fine or a stop notice, and carrying on selling can reach an unlimited fine and two years inside. Scotland uses a £200 fixed penalty, dropping to £150 if you pay inside fourteen days, with up to £5,000 on summary conviction. What A 7000 Puff Vape Actually Is Now

Take the number off the box for a second. What you are selling at this size is a small rechargeable device with a pod that lifts out.

The liquid is already inside, so there is nothing to pour and nothing to measure. The difference from the old bar is that when the flavour goes, the customer fits a fresh pod instead of binning the whole thing. The battery charges by USB-C and lives for months.

That is why the puff numbers survived the ban. A maker builds a pod holding roughly the same liquid as the old bar, prints the same figure on the box, and the device around it is now reusable. Same number, different object. The Elux Cyberover 6000 Kit is a clean example of the shape.

For a shop the practical change is the second sale. A bar was one transaction. A pod kit is a device sale followed by pods, for as long as the customer sticks with it.

Four Thousand And Four Five Hundred, The Smallest Tier

This is where the old bar market was biggest and it is now the thinnest part of the legal shelf.

We hold nine listings at four thousand puffs, and only one of the nine is named as a kit. The other eight carry the word disposable in their web address. At four and a half thousand it is five out of five. That does not prove those devices are illegal, and most are probably rechargeable kits sitting under an old name, but a buyer cannot tell from the listing and neither can we without opening each one.

What is clearly a kit at this size is the Higo BB4000 Pod Kit, a box of ten with prefilled pods. It takes 140 views a period and sits at position 36, which tells you nobody is finding it.

If a customer asks for a 4000 Puff Vape, sell them a four thousand pod kit and show them the pods at the same time. If they want the old bar, the honest answer is that it no longer exists to sell.

Seven Thousand Is The Busiest Shelf

More people search for a seven thousand puff vape than for any other size below ten thousand, and this is the tier where the naming problem costs the most money.

Our biggest seven thousand page pulls 11,216 views a period and 350 clicks, and it has disposable in its address. Another takes 4,235 views and ten clicks sitting at position 53. Meanwhile the kit-named pages at the same size are almost invisible.

One caution on price. A UK shop we checked retails the Hayati Rubik 7000 at £10.99 and the Feoba Pro 6000 at £7.99. Work out your margin against numbers like those before you commit to depth.

Nine Thousand Sits On The Edge Of Big Puff

Nine thousand is the last rung before the ten thousand and up market, and it behaves differently from the tiers below it.

Our Enjoy Ultra 9000 Box of 5 is the strongest thing we have at this size: 3,897 views, 80 clicks, position 8.8. That is a page already doing its job, and it is named as a kit rather than a bar. There is a box of ten as well.

At nine thousand the device usually holds more liquid than a four thousand, charges faster and lasts a customer longer between pod changes. That makes it the sensible step up to offer somebody who keeps coming back for pods more often than they would like.

Above this size the market changes shape again, with bottles feeding pods and four pod carousels, which is a different buying decision altogether.

What A 7000 Puff Vape Wholesale Order Costs

Trade pricing at these sizes runs from roughly five pounds a device up to around nine, depending on brand and box size.

The thing to watch is how close that sits to retail. The same UK shop we checked above sells the Elux Cyberover 6K at £5.99, the Lost Mary BM6000 at £8.99 and the SKE Crystal CL6000 at £9.99, all to the public with no trade account. If your cost is six pounds and the market price is seven, there is a pound in it before rent and staff.

Duty is the other number. The vaping products duty has applied since 1 October 2026 and it is charged on liquid alone, at £2.20 per 10ml, with the nicotine strength making no difference. That works out at 44p on a 2ml pod, so ten devices carrying one pod each is £4.40 a box before anything else.

How Deep To Go On 9000 Puff Vape Bulk

Breadth beats depth at these sizes, and the reason is the pods rather than the devices.

Puff Numbers From Two Makers Are Not Comparable

A seven thousand from one brand and a seven thousand from another can give a customer very different weeks.

Nobody tests these figures independently. Each maker runs its own lab puff and prints the result, and the conditions are not published. A longer draw empties a pod faster, so a heavy vaper on a seven thousand will not see seven thousand.

The number that does compare is the millilitres. Liquid is liquid. A 2ml pod is a 2ml pod whoever made it, and it is also what the duty is charged on. When you are choosing between two devices at the same puff figure, look for the capacity and ignore the headline.

Eleven Of Our Own Listings Still Say Disposable

We would rather put our own house in order out loud than pretend this is somebody else's problem.

Across the tiers in this guide we run 63 device listings, and 45 of them have disposable in the web address. That is seventy one percent, on a shelf where the single use version has not been legal for well over a year. Most of those are rechargeable kits under a legacy name. The name is still wrong.
