Start With the Cartridge
A customer may ask for SMOK RPM 2 Coils while carrying a kit that accepts two different types of pod. Do not select the coil from the device name alone. Look underneath the cartridge or at its packaging first. RPM 2 and original RPM are separate coil systems, even where the cartridges fit the same battery.
The SMOK RPM 2 Pod Kit is a clear example. SMOK's standard kit offers an RPM 2 cartridge and a different original RPM cartridge. These replacement coils are for the RPM 2 cartridge only. For the other cartridge, use original SMOK RPM coils.
Three Counter Questions
This short check avoids selling a compatible-looking coil that cannot fit the customer's pod.

An ohm (Ω) number identifies electrical resistance. It affects the power a coil is designed to use, but does not prove two coils have the same physical fitting. The distinction also matters for the SMOK SCAR P3 Pod Kit, which has cartridge-specific coil options.
Resistances That Matter
SMOK lists the original RPM 2 family as 0.16Ω mesh, 0.6Ω DC MTL and 0.25Ω DC. Its official accessory store also shows a later 0.3Ω meshed option. No1's live page has a resistance selector but no detailed variant list, so check what is actually selectable before promising every version.

0.16Ω mesh: an open direct-to-lung option, typically rated 25 to 50W with 40W as a common preferred point.

0.6Ω DC MTL: designed for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw, generally 12 to 25W. MTL means drawing vapour into the mouth before inhaling.

0.25Ω DC: another original RPM 2 option, commonly listed at 30 to 50W. Check the printing on the supplied coil.
Those figures help staff identify the right version. They are not instructions to set every device to its highest wattage. Use the resistance and working range printed on the actual coil, especially if a newer batch differs.
Change Only the Coil
An RPM 2 coil pushes into the base of the correct empty or refillable cartridge. There is no separate screw-in tank head. The customer keeps an undamaged cartridge and replaces the small heating part when the cotton wears out.
Before handing it back:

Remove the pod and check the coil seats fully without force.

Fill through the pod's own filling port, then close its plug.

Let fresh cotton soak properly before the first press and begin towards the lower end of the coil's printed wattage range.

Wholesale Pack Checks
SMOK identifies RPM 2 coils as five pieces per manufacturer retail pack. The No1 page title and selector do not independently confirm every physical supplied pack, resistance or sealed outer-case quantity. Do these fit both cartridges supplied with an RPM 2 kit?
No. Only the RPM 2 cartridge takes RPM 2 coils. The other, original RPM cartridge takes original RPM heads.
Can I replace a 0.16Ω coil with a 0.6Ω one?
Yes, when using a compatible RPM 2 cartridge and a device that supports the new coil's operating range. Adjust the wattage accordingly.
Is the Nord 4 name enough to confirm fit?
No. Check that the customer has the Nord 4 RPM 2 cartridge rather than its other cartridge version.
How many coils are in the manufacturer's pack?
Five. Verify the actual No1 selected product pack before confirming the order quantity.
Is a whole pod needed when flavour turns burnt?
Not usually. Replace the coil first if the refillable RPM 2 cartridge and seals remain sound.
Do RPM 3 or RPM160 heads substitute for these?
No. They belong to different SMOK coil families and must not be supplied as direct replacements.
