Introducing the SMOK SCAR P3 Pod Kit
The SMOK SCAR P3 Pod Kit is a complete refillable pod mod, not a pack of coils or an empty cartridge. It belongs to SMOK’s original SCAR family and operates with a Fire button and adjustable power.
Why the Cartridge Name Matters
Two SCAR-P3 cartridge types take different coil heads. The original kit includes both:

SCAR-P3 RPM 2 pod: Uses RPM 2-series heads; the supplied RPM 2 mesh head is 0.16Ω.

SCAR-P3 RPM pod: Uses the original RPM coil series; the supplied RPM mesh head is 0.4Ω.
The 0.16Ω head is rated 25-50W; the 0.4Ω RPM mesh runs around 25W. Read the coil marking before setting power. The device’s 80W maximum is not a setting for every coil. A pod may attach correctly to the mod while holding the wrong coil for that cartridge. Check the label before changing parts.
SCAR-P3's Sealed Battery and USB-C Port
Unlike the P5, the P3 needs no separate 18650 cell. A USB Type-C port sits beneath a protective cover. Close the cover when not charging.
The front display shows power and device readings. Fire and UP/DOWN buttons sit alongside it. SMOK calls the control board IQ-80; the wattage you choose remains subject to the installed coil’s working range. The device is designed for manual adjustment, rather than automatic draw activation.
IP67 Protection Has Clear Limits
SMOK rates the SCAR-P3 body IP67 for dust and water protection and describes a shock-resistant construction. IP67 does not cover an open charging port or damaged seal. Never charge a wet device. The manufacturer describes testing for immersion at a limited depth and time, not permanent waterproofing. A damaged protective flap should be treated as a fault rather than evidence that the IP rating still applies.
Air enters through two upper channels, not through a separate adjustable airflow ring.

International 5.5ml pods are not the UK 2ml edition. The dimensions refer to the device, not a carton.
Using and Replacing the Right Coil
Remove the pod to change its push-fit coil. Seat the correct head, refill and let it soak before firing.
The site's RPM 2 replacement coils are relevant to the RPM 2 cartridge only. The original RPM pod needs a different head.
Check UK Cartridge Capacity Before Stocking
SMOK's GB notification records identify separate 2ml SCAR-P3 RPM and 2ml SCAR-P3 RPM 2 cartridges. No.1’s separate 4.5ml empty-pod listing is not a verified compliant UK spare.
SMOK lists two pods with fitted heads, a Type-C charging cable and manual, with no bottled e-liquid. Its GB records identify the RPM 2 and original RPM versions separately. No.1’s actual carton is unverified.
Relevance of Other SMOK Replacement Parts
For the original RPM pod, check SMOK RPM coils by exact series and resistance. Other coil families in that collection will not necessarily fit. A replacement head is not a replacement cartridge: if the plastic pod itself is cracked or the seal has failed, confirm a SCAR-P3-specific 2ml pod rather than buying another coil.
Do not assume high-strength nicotine salts suit either supplied sub-ohm mesh head.

Questions About the SCAR-P3
Does it fire when I inhale without touching a button?
No. The original SCAR-P3 is button-fired; press Fire while inhaling.
Does locking the wattage also prevent firing?
No. UP and DOWN together lock the power adjustment, not the Fire button. Treat these controls separately.
Can the device take a standard screw-on 510 tank?
No. The SCAR-P3 uses its own magnetic cartridges, not a standard 510 tank connection.
Should I charge it immediately after getting the device wet?
No. Stop using it and ensure the body and USB-C connection are fully dry. Do not charge it with moisture or damaged seals present.
Are SCAR-P5 cartridges interchangeable with SCAR-P3 pods?
Do not assume so. SMOK lists separate SCAR-P3 and SCAR-P5 pod families. Match the exact device model and coil type.
