VOOPOO Panda Pod Kit: An Original Model
An early VOOPOO refillable device, the VOOPOO Panda Pod Kit uses its own covered cartridges in a compact, rounded body. It is a complete button-operated kit, not a pack of pods or a member of the later ARGUS family.
Output Matches the Cartridge
The Panda has no wattage screen or menu. Output follows the fitted cartridge, so changing pods is how the device changes power.
The 1.2Ω pod runs at 8W and is described in VOOPOO's manual as the nicotine-salt option. The 0.8Ω pod runs at 12W and is labelled for regular e-liquid. Both have integrated coils; neither is a loose coil for fitting into a reusable cartridge. There is no airflow slider. The two cartridges are distinct choices; fitting either does not make the Panda compatible with newer VOOPOO pod systems.
Button and Indicator Signals
The firing button activates the Panda. Its LED also shows charging and protection states:
-
Red while charging: the device is receiving power through its Micro-USB connection.
-
Green when charged: the manual identifies this as the completed-charge indication.
-
Protection cut-off: the device stops firing after an overlong press; the blue indicator may then flash.
Short-circuit and charging protections do not make damaged hardware safe. Keep the port dry. The connector is the older Micro-USB shape, not USB-C. A Type-C lead supplied with a newer kit should not be listed as the Panda cable.
Accessing the Filling Plug
The magnetic cap covers the mouthpiece. Remove the pod to reach its underside silicone stopper; fill through the opening, reseal it and wait until the wick has absorbed liquid before activating the device.
This bottom-fill pod is not prefilled. Its sealed coil cannot be unscrewed. Replace the whole cartridge when worn. Seat the silicone stopper firmly; no pod is guaranteed leakproof. If liquid reaches the contacts, remove the cartridge and wipe them gently with a dry cloth before checking the connection again.
Panda Battery and Pod Specifications
Device: 75 × 47.5 × 27.4mm; built-in 1100mAh battery; button activation; Micro-USB; automatic 8W/12W pod matching; no display.
UK kit listing: No1 states two 2ml pods, device, sealing O-ring, USB cable, manual and warranty card. International Panda pods were also sold as 5ml. Verify the actual cartridge resistances and UK batch. No1 specifies one loose sealing O-ring; some older international packing lists mention several, so extra rings should not be promised without checking the sealed box.
Panda Colour Options from 2018
VOOPOO originally announced five two-tone finishes: Black/Silver, White/Black, Black/Red, Black/Yellow and Blue/Gold. Later shops also use single-colour descriptions. Do not assume those are additional official variants.
No1's product page has a colour selector, but its current values were not accessible. These historic finishes are not confirmed No1 stock.
Panda Pods and E-Liquid Fit
For the lower-power 1.2Ω pod, 50VG/50PG bottled liquid is a relevant option. No1's Elf Bar Elfliq salts are 10ml, 50/50 products. This illustrates the liquid format, not a nicotine-strength recommendation. Check the 0.8Ω pod separately. For that 12W version, VOOPOO originally distinguished standard bottled juice from its 8W salt-nicotine cartridge. Match the chosen liquid and strength to the specific pod rather than treating both cartridges alike.
No verified Panda replacement-pod product page was found on No1. PnP, ITO and ARGUS consumables are not established Panda replacements. Other VOOPOO complete kits are not a source of interchangeable Panda pods.
Before Confirming a Trade Batch
For VOOPOO Panda wholesale supply, confirm the colour, both 2ml pods, replacement-pod availability, UK notification, labels and outer-case quantity against the sealed batch. Do not substitute a 5ml international SKU. The VOOPOO pod kit collection lists different complete devices for comparison, not verified Panda spares. UK sales are restricted to people aged 18 and above.
Questions About the Original Kit
Why does the blue light flash after a long press?
The Panda manual describes a ten-second firing cut-off. Eight blue flashes can signal that protection. Release the button; if the problem continues during normal use, stop and inspect the device.
Can I fit a VOOPOO PnP coil into an old Panda pod?
No. The original Panda uses dedicated cartridges with built-in coils. Buying a loose PnP coil will not turn a Panda cartridge into a replaceable-coil pod.
Are the loose sealing rings a spare heating coil?
No. They are seals for the cartridge system, not replacement heating elements. Replace a worn sealed-coil pod with a matching Panda cartridge.
Can I replace the Panda battery with a loose cell?
No. The 1100mAh battery is built into the device. This is not a removable-battery kit, so loose 18650 or 21700 cells are not Panda accessories.
