One Maker, Three Names: The GS eGo II Batteries Explained

Are GreenSoundTech And GS The Same Maker?

Yes. One company, one battery family. The name just reaches our shelf three different ways, and that is why the thing is hard to find.

So what is it? A slim rechargeable tube with a button, a screw top and no tank of its own. You put your own tank on it. A GreenSoundTech eGo II 2200mAh is the mid size one, and the number is the cell, not the power.

Put the full maker name into a search box and you land almost nowhere. Shorten it and four listings come back, looking like four products. They are not. This is one pen battery sold under three spellings, and once you know that, the rest of the page is easy.

One Maker, Three Spellings, Four Batteries

Here is every way the name turns up.

How it is written.Where it turns up.

GreenSoundTechTyped into a search box most often.

Green SoundOn one of our own listings.

GSOn the other three, and on the box.

All three mean the same factory. Other UK sellers mix them too, so a buyer comparing shops ends up thinking there are more products than there are.

Four of them sit on our shelf, and the short name covers most of them. Best known by a wide margin is the GS eGo II Prime, which is the one a shop will usually have handled before. Behind it come a plain 2200mAh version and a kit that holds two cell sizes at once.

One listing breaks the pattern. The long spelling turns up on just that one, the Green Sound Aero, and the cell inside it is the same 2200mAh as the rest. Only the words on the page differ. That alone is how the confusion started.

Written out, the shelf reads like this. A Prime. An Aero. A GS eGo II 2200mAh on its own. And a kit offering two cell sizes. Four pages, one pen.

Nothing Comes With A Tank

No complaint on pen batteries comes up more often, so say this at the counter first.

»  In the box: the battery, a lead, a manual.

»  Not in the box: a tank, a coil, any liquid.

A customer who wants one box with everything in it needs a kit, not a battery. Two of ours do that job. A Quest Vapour CE4 Kit is the old eGo shape with the tank already fitted, so only the liquid is left to add.

The one exception in the family is the mega kit, further down. That one does include a tank.

The Ohm Range Is Not The Same On Both

Now the part that causes returns, and the part nobody writes down.

Two UK sellers describe the coil limits differently, and both are selling a GS eGo II.

seller one  Coils of 1.2 ohm or higher, mouth draw only.

seller two  Ships a 0.6 ohm coil inside its own kit.

Those two statements cannot both describe one battery, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Most likely the family changed over the years, and that low figure belongs to one particular tank rather than to every battery in the range.

What that means for a shop is simple. Ask what tank the customer is putting on it. Wanting a big airy cloud? Wrong battery, and no amount of coil choosing fixes it. Tight draw on a small tank, though, and this is the one.

The top is friendly, at least. It takes both a 510 thread and an eGo thread, which between them cover most small tanks made in the last ten years. Keep the tank small and a GS eGo II Battery will take most of what sits under Wholesale Vape Tanks.

One Needs A Charger, One Does Not

Two of these batteries charge in different ways, and it changes the order.

The Prime has its socket in the base, so the tank can stay on while it charges. On the bare 2200mAh there are two options instead. A socket, and a screw thread up top for an old style eGo charger. Several sellers put the charger on a separate line for that version.

So before the order goes in, decide which version you are taking. Is it the one without a lead in the box? Chargers belong on that same order. Otherwise you post them out a week later. Both shapes live under Wholesale Battery Chargers.

A full charge takes four to five hours from flat. Slow, by modern standards. Say so out loud. Somebody used to a half hour top up will think it is broken.

The button lights up to tell you where the charge is: white, then blue, then red. If it flashes red it is empty rather than low. One warning on those colours. Two sellers give different percentage bands for the same three lights, so do not quote exact numbers to a customer. White means plenty, blue means think about it, red means tonight.

The 3200mAh Step Up Is A Different Battery

The same maker builds a bigger one. They call it the eGo III, and it holds 3200mAh instead of 2200.

Choosing between them is not required. eGo III 3200mAh Kit offers both sizes on one listing, and this is the version that turns up with a tank. Other sellers put a small dual coil clearomizer in that box along with a spare coil and a lead.

That tank is a small bottom coil clearomizer holding one and a half millilitres. British rules stop at two millilitres, so this one sits well inside them and raises no questions.

Who wants the bigger cell? Somebody who charges once a day rather than twice. The whole difference is there. No extra power comes with it. Output stays where it was. Sell it as more power and the device comes back.

A Twist Version Exists And We Do Not Hold It

Worth knowing before somebody asks for it.

There is a Twist model in this family. Its base turns, and that is how the voltage moves. Our shelf does not have it. Everything on our shelf runs at one fixed setting. Somewhere around three and a half to four volts. Depending on the coil, that comes out at roughly fifteen to twenty five watts.

If a customer comes in asking for the twisty one, they want a different product and you can say so straight away. Sending them a fixed one and hoping is how a return starts.

Often what they want is something they can change. A refillable pod kit gives them that through the airflow instead of the voltage. That buyer is better served by our Which Pods Fit guide.

GreenSoundTech eGo II Battery Wholesale Is A Spares Line

Think of this as a repair part, not a new sale. That changes who you sell it to and how many you hold.

The customer is almost never buying their first vape. They own a small tank already. The battery has stopped holding charge. A second one exactly like the first is what they came in for. So GreenSoundTech eGo II Battery Wholesale sells quietly all year, in ones and twos, with no season to it.

Three details help close that sale.

The first is the top connector. Built the way it is, the tank cannot work itself loose. That was the old eGo complaint, and it is now solved. The second is the output. A chip inside pulses the power to hold it steady as the cell drains. So the last puff of the day tastes like the first, rather than fading away. The third is paperwork. The usual safety marks, plus short circuit, overload and low voltage cut outs. A shop can answer the safety question without hedging.

One practical note on size. Barely a millimetre fatter than the older 1300mAh pens. Same display stand, same pocket. On a counter being laid out, that one millimetre decides whether it fits the stand you already own.

Some customers turn out to want a whole new setup rather than a spare. Send those to Vape Pen 22 By SMOK, which is the fatter modern take on the same shape. For a repair, the bare battery still wins.

eGo II 2200mAh Battery Bulk Runs On Replacement Demand

Order shallow and often. Short version first.

An eGo II 2200mAh Battery Bulk order is not like a kit order. Nobody buys two. One goes out and lasts a year or more. The next one goes to a different person. So depth per colour matters more than total units.

Eight colours exist: black, silver, blue, gold, pink, purple, rainbow and red. Weight sits on the plain two. The dark one and the metal one leave first nearly everywhere. The other six sit longer, so a single unit of each is plenty until somebody asks a second time.

Write down whatever gets asked for and cannot be handed over. Those few names become the next order, and nobody has to remember them. By the third delivery the guessing has stopped.

A last point on budget. A battery order and a pod kit order chase two different customers. One should not be paid for out of the other.

Everything of this shape sits under Vape Pens. Bare batteries and finished pens, side by side. Splitting an order between the two gets easier when you can see both.

FAQs

Is GreenSoundTech a different company from GS?

No. Same maker, shorter name. Green Sound is the same again. The box usually says GS.

Does a GS eGo II Battery Wholesale order include tanks?

No. Buy a bare one and you get the battery, a lead and a manual. Only the mega kit version arrives with a tank in it.

Can the cell be taken out and swapped?

No. Built in, and it charges through the lead. When it stops holding charge the whole battery is replaced, which is why this sells as a spare.

What tank should go on top?

A small one with a tight draw suits it. The thread takes both 510 and eGo, so most little tanks fit. Big airy ones are the wrong match.

Which coil resistance is safe on it?

Sellers disagree, so check the tank you are pairing. One says 1.2 ohm and up, another ships a 0.6 ohm coil in its own kit. Send us the tank and we will confirm the pairing before it ships.

What is the charging time from flat?

Four to five hours from flat. The light runs white, then blue, then red.

Is the 3200mAh one more powerful?

No, only longer lasting. Output is identical. It simply goes further between charges.

How do you turn it off?

Five quick presses of the button locks it, and five more wakes it. That stops it firing in a pocket.

Do you carry the variable voltage Twist?

Not at the moment. Everything we hold is fixed output.

How should an eGo II 2200mAh Battery Bulk order be split?

Black and silver, deeper than the rest. One each of the bright ones until a customer asks for a second.

Why is one of your listings blank?

Because nobody has written it yet. GS eGo II 2200mAh sits there with an empty page, which is our fault and not the product's. Read this instead until we fix it.

Is vape pen battery wholesale still worth shelf space?

For repeat repair custom, yes. Slow and steady rather than a headline line, and nobody else near you is likely to carry it.
