SMOK Thallo S Pod Kit: Removable-Cell Design
A separate battery powers the SMOK Thallo S Pod Kit. Unlike the standard Thallo, whose 3000mAh cell is built in, this refillable pod mod accepts one removable 18650 or 21700 cell. Its IQ-XS controller sets wattage; the cartridge determines coil compatibility. The battery is not included in SMOK's standard packing list.
Thallo S 18650 and 21700 Power Limits
The Thallo S asks for the battery type when first switched on after changing cells. Select 18650 for an 80W ceiling or 21700 for a 100W ceiling. Neither limit is right for every coil.
Use a suitable high-drain cell, install it with the correct polarity and follow SMOK's battery safety card. Five quick fire-button presses switch power; the up/down keys adjust unlocked wattage.
SMOK Thallo S RPM 2 and RPM Pod Fit
Two similar-looking cartridges serve different heating heads:

Thallo RPM 2 pod: takes RPM 2 coils, including 0.16Ω mesh and 0.6Ω DC MTL.

Thallo RPM pod: accepts older original RPM coils. It differs from the RPM 2 pod.
No.1 lists Thallo 2ml replacement pods with RPM and RPM 2 choices. Match the pod variant to the coil before ordering; RPM 2 device pods are not automatically Thallo spares.
Thallo S RPM 2 Coil Resistances and Watts
For the original Thallo S RPM 2 cartridge, the established coil choices are:

RPM 2 Mesh 0.16Ω: 25–50W, with 40W highlighted in original specialist catalogues.

RPM 2 DC 0.6Ω MTL: 12–25W for a more restricted draw.
The related RPM 2 coils are listed on No.1, but the live resistance selector is not readable. Follow the coil marking, not the 100W device limit.
SMOK Thallo S Technical Specifications
Power and battery: 5–100W rated device range; one removable 18650 or 21700 cell. SMOK's manual specifies 80W maximum when configured for 18650.
Display and controls: IQ-XS chip, 0.96-inch colour screen, fire button and separate adjustment keys.
Size and charging: 129.1 × 37.5 × 31.4mm; USB-C input, maximum 1.4A. The original manual gives 107g without the battery.
Cartridge: Magnetic, side-fill, replaceable-coil Thallo pod. The GB-listed version has a 2ml reservoir.
SMOK Thallo S Colour Options
The first six recorded Fluid finishes are Fluid Black Red, Fluid Gold, Fluid Green, Fluid Blue, Fluid 7-Color and Fluid Black Grey. Later specialist catalogues also name Black, Grey, Red, Blue and Brown.

Thallo S Pod Filling, Airflow and Controls
Lift the magnetic cartridge out, open its side silicone stopper and fill away from the centre air passage. Reseal it, then allow a new coil's wick to soak before firing. To change the heating head, pull the old coil from the pod base and press the correct replacement fully into position.
The Thallo S airflow ring adjusts air intake without changing the selected wattage. Three fast fire-button presses lock or unlock firing; the screen can also show battery, resistance and fault information. Check the manual before changing power.

SMOK's manual lists a 2ml Thallo RPM 2 pod, one 0.16Ω mesh coil, one 0.6Ω DC MTL coil, a USB-C cord and the manufacturer's booklet in its 2ml edition. The battery is separate. The 5ml international edition is not the GB kit.
Before describing SMOK Thallo S wholesale stock, verify No.1's actual sealed pod capacity, coil contents, colour, battery requirements, case quantity and UK labelling. The SMOK pod-kit collection includes different devices. No outer-case quantity is confirmed, and the physical stock batch is unverified.

Does the SMOK Thallo S Kit Include an 18650 or 21700 Battery?
No. SMOK's Thallo S kit list contains the device and pod hardware, but not the removable battery. Select a suitable cell and follow battery safety instructions.
Can Thallo S RPM Pods Use RPM 2 Mesh Coils?
No. The Thallo RPM pod takes original RPM heads. An RPM 2 mesh coil needs the Thallo RPM 2 pod, even though both cartridges fit the Thallo S device.
What Does TIME OVER Mean on the SMOK Thallo S Screen?
The Thallo S manual states that continuous firing stops after eight seconds. TIME OVER indicates that cut-off, rather than a fault with the pod capacity or battery type.
Is a SMOK Thallo S 5ml Pod the UK 2ml Version?
No. SMOK documents separate 5ml international and 2ml GB cartridge editions. Check the Thallo S selling unit and applicable UK product information before stocking it.
