What Is the SMOK Nord X Pod Kit?
On the SMOK Nord X Pod Kit, the pod and coil can be removed, while its battery stays sealed inside. It is a button-fired, refillable pod system with adjustable power. Its two cartridges take different SMOK coil families.
Reading the Nord X Controls
The 0.69-inch screen shows wattage, battery charge, resistance and puff count. Output ranges from 5W to 60W, but the installed coil determines the appropriate setting. Separate UP and DOWN keys change wattage; five quick Fire presses switch the device on or off.
Its built-in 1500mAh battery charges through USB Type-C, unlike the earlier Nord 2’s Micro-USB port. On Nord X, three quick Fire presses lock or unlock firing; do not confuse that with Nord 2 wattage controls.
Charging and Water Protection
SMOK describes IP67 dust and water protection, with shock-resistant construction. Never charge the device wet. Check that its port is dry and undamaged.
An IP rating cannot guarantee protection against falls or damaged seals.
Nord X Colour Options
Eight finishes appear in SMOK's original catalogue. Seven names are consistent across independently checked kit listings: Black Cobra, White Cobra, 7-Color Cobra, 7-Color Spray, Fluid Blue, Fluid Red and Fluid Gold.
The eighth is called Fluid Purple by one seller and Fluid 7 Colour by another. No.1’s colour choices are unreadable, so check the actual carton.
Choosing Between the Two Pod Bodies
Both cartridge bodies fit the Nord X, but their coils differ.
Nord X RPM 2 pod: Its original fitted head is RPM 2 Meshed 0.16Ω, with a published operating range of 25-50W. The appropriate spares are RPM 2 coil heads.
Nord X RPM pod: This version comes with an original RPM Mesh 0.4Ω head, rated around 25W. An RPM 2 coil will not fit this version. Original Nord and Nord 2 pods are different.

What Comes With the Original Kit?
SMOK’s package lists the device, RPM 2 pod with 0.16Ω head, RPM pod with 0.4Ω head, USB cable and instructions. A UK specialist lists both pods in 2ml form. No e-liquid is included.
No additional empty pod or sealed Box of 10 is confirmed.
Filling and Replacing the Correct Head
Remove the pod and open its silicone fill plug. Keep liquid out of the central airway. After filling a new head, wait two to three minutes for the cotton to soak.
The original cartridge uses SMOK RPM coils. There is no verified blanket pairing of 10mg or 20mg Nic Salt with the factory sub-ohm coil setups.
UK Capacity and the Oversized Spare
SMOK's GB records separately identify 2ml Nord X RPM and 2ml Nord X RPM 2 cartridges. The international version is 6ml. No.1’s Nord X Replacement Pods XL listing also says 6ml, not a UK-compliant spare.
No.1 does not verify its physical GB stock.
Identify the Nord X Trade Unit
A SMOK Nord X wholesale SKU needs a physical check of both GB 2ml cartridges, fitted heads and colour. Use the sealed carton, not the online selector, to establish quantity. The SMOK pod kit collection is for model navigation, not proof of compatible plastic pods.
Nord X Questions
What does pressing Fire three times do?
On Nord X, three quick presses lock or unlock firing. The earlier Nord 2 uses a different three-press control.
Will original Nord-series coils fit the Nord X?
No. The two supplied Nord X cartridge types take original RPM or RPM 2 coils, not the original Nord coil family.
Can one cartridge accept both RPM coil generations?
No. Match the coil series to the cartridge marked RPM or RPM 2. The bodies attach to the same device, but their heads differ.
Can an XL 6ml replacement be supplied as the GB spare?
No. The UK replacement tank capacity limit is 2ml, including empty replacements. Verify a 2ml Nord X-specific spare.
Does the Nord X have an adjustable airflow dial?
SMOK's original kit documentation does not identify a separate external airflow dial. Do not promise one from a different Nord model.
