Crystal Prime Box of 5 vs Box of 10: What Still Sells

Crystal Prime Box of 5 vs Box of 10: What Still Sells

Box of 5 Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000 Still Sells

If you sell vapes, the quickest way to tell a legal Crystal Prime from a banned one is the box size. The pod kits come five to a box. The old sealed bars come ten. Nobody wrote that rule down. But it holds true right across the range, and it will save you a phone call.

Here is the short version. Crystal Prime is one brand name sitting on two very different kinds of product.

1. The pod kits. They charge up. When the liquid runs out, a fresh pod clicks in. Legal to sell.

2. The sealed bars. Shut tight. When the liquid is gone, the whole thing goes in the bin. Not legal to sell since 1 June 2025.

So a shop ringing a supplier and asking for "Crystal Prime" can be sent either one. This page sorts out which is which, model by model. It also says what to order in place of the ones you cannot sell. The Box of 5 lines are the ones you want, and the Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000, five devices per box is the simplest place to start.

Two Simple Rules

A vape is legal to sell here if it charges up and takes more liquid. That is it. Two things, and both have to be true.

  1. It must have a rechargeable battery.
  2. It must have a refillable container for the liquid. A chamber, capsule, cartridge, pod or tank all count.

The government guidance adds two more lines worth knowing:

  • If the device has a coil, that coil "must be removable and replaceable by the vape user".
  • Refills and coils "should be separately available for users to buy". Note the word should. That one is what the guidance asks for, not a hard test like the first two.

Provenance: (a) documented at primary source, gov.uk guidance on the single-use vapes ban, last updated 3 July 2025.

THE PART THAT CATCHES PEOPLE OUT

A charging port on its own is not enough. Plenty of the banned bars charge over USB-C. The cable fits, the light comes on. None of that helps if the liquid inside cannot be topped up or swapped.

A shop that checks only for a charging port will pass a banned device by mistake. We see that one more than any other.

One more thing. You will hear suppliers call a device "ban-proof". There is no such thing. A device either passes the two tests or it does not. And the rules can change again. Want the broader view of what took over from the old bars? We cover our eight best bar replacements for 2026, across every brand we carry.

Crystal Prime 7000 And Deluxe 18000 Are Sealed

Three models in the range are sealed shut. The liquid sits inside and no pod comes out. Here is the whole range against the two tests, with what to do about each one.

# Model Liquid Charges Refills What to do
1 Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000 2ml pod plus 10ml bottle Yes, 650mAh Yes, pod swaps Stock first
2 Crystal Prime Twist 40K Two 2ml pods plus two 10ml Yes, 850mAh Yes, pods swap Stock second
3 Crystal Prime 7000 16ml, sealed Yes, 600mAh No Do not reorder
4 Crystal Prime Deluxe 18000 25ml, closed pod Yes, 650mAh No Do not reorder
5 Crystal Prime Pro 4500 12ml, fixed coil No No Do not reorder

Taking the three failures one at a time:

  • Crystal Prime 7000. The clearest case of the trap above. It charges over USB-C, so it looks modern. But it holds 16ml of liquid with nothing to swap. Charging port, no refill, fails.
  • Crystal Prime Deluxe 18000. Same story with a bigger tank. 25ml, one sealed pod, and no replacement pod is made for it.
  • Crystal Prime Pro 4500. The plainest of the three. It does not even charge. The 1400mAh battery runs down once and stops.

One thing before you compare these on the box figures. A puff number printed on one box does not measure the same thing as the number on the next. We explain why in Big Puff Vapes: Why 30K Is Not Three Times 10K.

Crystal Prime Deluxe 18000 Bulk Is Clearance Only

If you are still being offered these, look closely at the price. A Crystal Prime Deluxe 18000 bulk deal that looks too good is usually a run-out, not a bargain. Here is what we found across UK wholesale sites in October 2026.

  1. Cut by 40 per cent. One seller has the Deluxe 18000 box of ten down from £74.99 to £44.99.
  2. Out of stock at two more. Both list it and neither can supply it.
  3. Sold out on the 7000. One shop had cut it to £6.99 from £12.99 and still cleared the lot.
  4. The Pro 4500 has vanished. We could not find it on any other UK seller at all.

Big discounts, empty shelves, no restock. It all points one way. This is stock clearing out, not a line being backed. Buying Crystal Prime bulk quantities of a model like that leaves you holding something you cannot reorder and should not be selling. Repeat business is the point of a vape line. A sealed bar gives you none.

The Coil Inside

Here is the bit that makes the pod kits work, and almost nobody spells it out.

On these kits the coil is not a separate bit you unscrew. It is built into the pod. The Crystal Prime Twist 40K pods carry a 1.1 ohm mesh coil sealed inside each one. So when a customer clicks in a fresh pod, they fit a fresh coil at the same time. They do not even have to think about it.

That matters for the coil rule. The guidance asks that a coil can be taken out and replaced by the user. On a pod kit they do replace it. It comes out with the old pod and goes in with the new one. Provenance: (c) this is our own reading of how the coil test applies to a sealed pod, not a position gov.uk has published in those words.

For your counter, it means three things:

  • Nothing extra to sell. No coil packs to stock alongside the pods.
  • Nothing to explain. No ohms for the customer to pick.
  • No returns from dry burns. Nobody can fit one wrong, because there is nothing to fit.

If you sell refillable kit as well, the difference is worth knowing, and Vape Coils Explained: Ohms, Mesh, Pod Coils And When To Change Them covers it.

Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000 And Twist 40K Wholesale

So what do you order instead. Two kits, and the pods that go with them.

1. Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000

  • Twenty-four ninety-nine a Box of 5, and that is five whole devices
  • A 2ml pod with a 10ml bottle feeding it
  • Twelve millilitres of 20mg nic salt per device, so 60ml a box
  • 650mAh battery, charges over USB-C, pods sold on their own

2. Crystal Prime Twist 40K

  • Also £24.99 for a box of five
  • A flavour on each side, so two 2ml pods and two 10ml containers
  • 850mAh battery, and 24ml of liquid per device

The 2ml pod and 10ml bottle pairing is the whole reason these pass. The pod is small enough to stay inside the legal limit for a container sold with nicotine already in it. The bottle behind it keeps topping that pod up while the customer vapes. Two containers, both legal, one device.

Now the part that actually makes you money. Order the pods at the same time as the kits. A customer who buys a device and cannot find the refill goes elsewhere next month. That was the sale you were building. The Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10K pods and refill bottles come five to a pack at £14.99, matching the kit box for size and holding the same 60ml.

One warning on Crystal Prime wholesale pricing. The same box of five Aura Bar 10K pods runs from £14.99 to £21.99 across the UK suppliers we checked in October 2026. Same product, and the top price is nearly half again as much. Check the pod price before you commit to a kit order, because the pods are where the margin sits over time.

No Pod Swaps

Nothing in this range fits anything else in this range. That sounds obvious and it is still the most common ordering mistake.

Which Pod Fits Which

Device Takes Will not take
Aura Bar 10000 Aura Bar 10K pods Twist 40K pods
Twist 40K Twist 40K pods Aura Bar 10K pods

The two do not cross over, even though both names start with Aura Bar. The pod shapes are different. That is stated on both product pages, and other UK sellers say the same about their own stock. Pods from other brands at similar sizes do not seat either. If a customer brings in a pod and asks whether it fits, match the device name exactly. Not the brand. You can hold a quote against the figures on our Crystal Prime Twist 40K pods, 1.1 ohm mesh page.

The One Without A Device

There is a Crystal Prime Smart M3 replacement pod pack on the market at around £5.49 for four. We cannot tell you what it fits. Three things are missing:

  • No Smart M3 device is listed on our site
  • The pod listing gives no size, no strength and no list of what it fits
  • No other UK seller we checked names a device for it either

We would rather say that plainly than guess. If you are offered Smart M3 pods, ask the supplier which device they fit. Get the answer in writing before you buy a case.

Same Kit Twice

Two things in this range will confuse an order. Both are naming problems, not product problems.

One product, four names. We checked four UK sellers in October 2026 and found the Twist 40K kit under four different names:

  1. Crystal Prime Twist 40K Prefilled Vape Kit
  2. Aura Bar Twist 40k Prefilled Pod Vape Kit By Crystal Prime
  3. Crystal Prime Aura Bar Twist 40K Prefilled Vape Kit
  4. Aura Bar Twist 40k Box of 5 By Crystal Prime

Four names, one device. So if two quotes look like different products at two prices, compare the specs and not the titles. Our Crystal Prime Twist 40K Vape Kit specs and price page lists the full figures so you have something to hold a quote against.

Many products, one name. This is the riskier one. "Crystal" is in the name of a lot of vapes that have nothing to do with Crystal Prime. One UK retailer runs a banned-products page. It lists:

  • Crystal Pro Max 4000
  • Crystal Pro Max Plus 10000
  • Crystal Fire Pro Ultra 18k
  • SKE Crystal Bar 600 and SKE Crystal Super Max 4500
  • Olit Crystal 6000 and WGA Crystal Pro Max 15000

Not one Crystal Prime model is on it. So asking a supplier for "a Crystal 18K" can get you a banned device from a different maker. Say the full model name every time. Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000. Crystal Prime Twist 40K. It takes three extra words and it is the cheapest check in this whole piece.

Tax From October

Every 10ml of vaping liquid picks up £2.20 in duty once October starts. The charge follows the volume in the bottle. Zero nicotine does not get you out of it either, because HMRC say the duty "applies whether or not the vaping liquid contains nicotine". Provenance: (a) documented at primary source, HMRC guidance on handling wholesale or retail vaping products in the UK, published 9 July 2026.

Working it out on these kits takes a second, since the volume is printed:

Device Liquid Duty per device Duty per Box of 5
Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10000 12ml £2.64 £13.20
Crystal Prime Twist 40K 24ml £5.28 £26.40

More liquid means more duty, so a two-flavour device pays on both sides. Anything imported ahead of the start date keeps a run-off period, and the last day to shift unstamped boxes is 31 March 2027. The full timeline, and what the stamps look like, sits in The Vape Tax Lands in October and Nobody Told You.

Stock Already Bought

What about the sealed ones sitting in your stockroom right now. This is the question we get asked most and the one nobody writes about.

The honest answer is that the ban is on selling and supplying, not on owning. Stock you already hold does not become legal to sell just because you paid for it before June 2025. Trading Standards enforce this, and the penalties are set out in the rules, not left to a supplier to describe.

We sell wholesale and we are not your legal adviser. So here is what we would do in your position:

  1. Count what you are holding and write down the model names in full.
  2. Ring your local Trading Standards office and ask about those specific models before you decide anything.
  3. Stop adding to it. Whatever happens to the old stock, a clearance line is not worth another order.
  4. Give the shelf space to a line you can reorder, so the gap fills itself rather than sitting empty.

One more thing to keep an eye on. The rules around vaping are still moving. Flavours, packaging and shop display are all being talked about on top of the single-use ban. So split a big order between two or three lines instead of betting the lot on one flavour range.

Common Questions

1. Can I refill a Crystal Prime 7000 myself?
No. It is sealed. Nothing comes out and nothing goes in. That is the reason it fails.

2. Do I need to replace the coils on an Aura Bar 10000?
Not on their own. The coil sits inside the pod. Fit a new pod and your customer has a new coil too.

3. Can I still sell Crystal Prime stock I already bought?
Owning it is not an offence. Selling or supplying a single-use vape is. Check with Trading Standards about what you are holding rather than taking a supplier's word for it, ours included.

4. Which Crystal Prime pods fit which device?
Aura Bar 10K pods fit the Aura Bar 10000 only. Twist 40K pods fit the Twist 40K only. They do not swap, despite the shared Aura Bar name.

5. Is the Crystal Prime Deluxe 18000 legal because it recharges?
No. Recharging is only one of the two tests. It holds 25ml in a sealed pod, and no replacement pod is made for it. So it fails on refilling.

6. A supplier told me a kit is ban-proof. Is that a thing?
No. There is no ban-proof category. Ask two things. Does it recharge, and can the pod be replaced. Then check the pods are really on sale.

7. How many devices are in a Crystal Prime Box of 5?
Five complete devices. Not five pods and not five flavours. The pods are a separate box, also five to a pack.

8. Which one should I stock first?
The Aura Bar 10000, with its pods ordered at the same time. It is the easier of the two to sell. Ten thousand puffs is the step most bar customers take first. And because the refill keeps selling after the device, that is what brings them back through the door.
